Indore, Madhya Pradesh – A senior Congress leader's grandson has been booked for allegedly assaulting a cleanliness worker and her son in the Aerodrome area on Wednesday morning. The incident reportedly occurred when the cleanliness worker and her son were parked alongside the road with their garbage vehicle. Tensions escalated when the worker was asked to move the vehicle, leading to a confrontation with the Congress leader's daughter-in-law. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vinod Meena, the cleanliness worker sustained an injury to her hand during the altercation. She reported that after she informed the daughter-in-law that her son would move the vehicle, an argument ensued, culminating in the grandson allegedly attacking both her and her son with a stick. Following the incident, the injured worker filed a complaint at the police station, prompting authorities to register a case against the grandson and initiate a search for him. In response to the allegations, the Congress leader's daughter-in-law claimed that the cleanliness worker and her son had misbehaved with her while she was driving to Ujjain. She asserted that her son acted in self-defense after the worker allegedly used abusive language. The daughter-in-law also stated that she possesses CCTV footage of the incident, which she is willing to share with the police as part of the ongoing investigation.
