Kia announces pricing for the award-winning 2026 EV9 SUV

On May 27, 2025, Kia America revealed the pricing details for its all-electric 2026 Kia EV9 three-row SUV during an official announcement in Irvine, California. This latest model carries over significant features from its previous years while also introducing updates to enhance the driving experience. The new EV9 will be available in different trims, with the 'Land AWD' trim including the exciting Nightfall Edition package which offers both design and performance enhancements. This edition will be available in both 6-passenger and 7-passenger configurations, as no-cost options. The pricing for the new models starts with the EV9 Light SR at $54,900, moving up to the EV9 GT-Line at $71,900. Each variant has a set MSRP which excludes destination and handling fees, taxes, title, license fees, options, and retailer charges. Kia provided estimated ranges per trim, with the Light SR offering up to 305 miles, while the Wind & Land trims can achieve 283 miles. The GT-Line is estimated at 280 miles. Kia emphasizes that these electric ranges are preliminary estimates subject to various factors affecting real-world driving. In addition to the Nightfall Edition package, Kia has made improvements to the vehicle’s all-wheel-drive (AWD) options. All AWD trims will feature a Terrain Mode, which provides enhanced performance for challenging driving conditions such as snow, mud, and sand, thus reflecting Kia's commitment to offering versatile and reliable vehicles for a range of driving environments. Furthermore, the enhancements to colors available for both exterior and interior of the new EV9 exhibit Kia’s focus on customization and aesthetic appeal.
