Meyer Shank Racing honors Grateful Dead's legacy with special livery

In honor of the 60th anniversary of the Grateful Dead, Meyer Shank Racing unveiled a unique livery design for Felix Rosenqvist's No. 60 Honda. This special tribute will be showcased during two consecutive races in the NTT IndyCar Series: the Java House Grand Prix of Monterey slated for July 27, and the following race at Portland International Raceway on August 10. The eye-catching car design features a delightful tie-dye pattern reminiscent of the band's iconic aesthetic, making it a standout on the racing circuit. The event marks a significant celebration not just for motorsports fans, but for the countless Deadheads who have celebrated the band's music for decades. The car will debut at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, a location where the Grateful Dead performed in the late '80s. Following its unveil, the car will also make an appearance at the official Dead & Company merch store at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, coinciding with the band's highly anticipated sold-out concerts in Golden Gate Park from August 1-3. Meyer Shank Racing, known for their innovative liveries in the IndyCar series, is collaborating with SiriusXM for this unique design. Throughout the racing season, they have featured various music-inspired liveries, with the Grateful Dead tribute being the latest in a series celebrating musical artistry.
