Story

Los Angeles detectives have released security images of three suspects and a vehicle linked to the shooting death of actor Johnny Wactor, known for his role on "General Hospital." The incident occurred on May 25 in downtown Los Angeles, shortly after Wactor finished his bartending shift. He was confronted by the suspects while they attempted to steal a catalytic converter from his vehicle, which was raised on a floor jack. Witnesses reported that Wactor was shot in the chest by one of the suspects without any provocation. The shooter is described as having distinctive tattoos above the left eye and on the right cheek. Tragically, Wactor succumbed to his injuries at the hospital shortly after the attack. The suspects fled the scene in a stolen black 2018 Infiniti Q50, which had a tan interior. Wactor, 37, was not only recognized for his role as Brando Corbin on "General Hospital" but also made appearances in popular series such as "Westworld," "NCIS," and "Criminal Minds." The police are urging anyone with information regarding the suspects' whereabouts to come forward. Authorities have provided contact details for Central Bureau Homicide Detectives Howarth and Bobadilla, encouraging the public to assist in the investigation. They can be reached at (213) 996-4143 and (213) 996-4173 during business hours, or by contacting the Central Area Watch Commander after hours.
