WNBA star Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever is making the most of her time off by visiting Yankee Stadium. Dressed in a Yankees jersey, Clark attended Saturday's doubleheader between the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees, where she had the opportunity to meet Yankees slugger Aaron Judge. Notably, Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo also posed for a photo with the rising basketball star, who is set to tour the stadium and meet other team members. The WNBA is currently on hiatus following games on July 17, with the exception of the All-Star Game held three days later. Clark, who participated in the All-Star Game representing the WNBA against Team USA, expressed her eagerness for a break during this period. The 22-year-old was selected first overall by the Fever and has been under intense media scrutiny since her arrival in the league. In her debut season, Clark has been impressive, averaging 17.1 points, a league-high 8.2 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game across 26 starts. She made history by recording the first triple-double by a rookie in WNBA history during a game against the New York Liberty on July 6. As the Fever prepare to resume their season on Friday against the Phoenix Mercury, Clark is enjoying her time at the ballpark, with plans to catch at least one of the games on Saturday.
