In Madhya Pradesh, India, a significant drug bust has led to the arrest of factory owner SK Singh, who violated industry norms by renting out his facility without police verification. The police are currently investigating connections to four to five individuals linked to the drug factory case in Bhopal, including Prem Patidar and Shoaib Khan. The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has also been involved, having recently dismantled an illegal drug factory in Bagrod. The investigation has revealed that the accused, Harish Anjana, has connections across Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra, prompting further scrutiny of his associates. Despite facing multiple charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, Anjana managed to secure bail from the high court, raising concerns about the effectiveness of law enforcement in tackling drug-related crimes. The ongoing investigation highlights the complexities of drug trafficking networks in the region and the challenges faced by authorities in curbing such illegal activities.
