The New York Liberty duo, Sabrina Ionescu and Natasha Cloud, emerged victorious, showcasing their outstanding skills. Sabrina Ionescu won the 3-point contest with a strong performance, scoring 30 points, which is notably the second-highest in WNBA history. Her previous record was 37 points in 2021, where she made an impressive 25 of 27 shots. Natasha Cloud also excelled, winning the skills competition with the fastest time of 36.4 seconds, overtaking Erica Wheeler’s previous time of 37.5 seconds. After her victory, Cloud mentioned a personal goal of putting a down payment on a house with her teammate Isabelle Harrison, reflecting the significance of her win beyond just the competition. Both players’ performances attracted attention, with Cloud also taking home $55,000 for her success and Ionescu receiving $60,000. Ionescu expressed her intention to share her winnings with Washington Mystics rookie Sonia Citron and her own foundation, highlighting her commitment to giving back to the community.
