Jackie had been found unable to fly and was diagnosed with severe anemia and kidney inflammation. As of late July, she had been moved out of intensive care, but the cause of her illness remained undetermined, prompting ongoing diagnostic testing by veterinarians. The Brockmans expressed their gratitude for the support from the community and emphasized the importance of the eagles in inspiring a connection to nature. Their donation marks a rare public acknowledgment of their charitable efforts, which are typically focused on political donations, including significant contributions to pro-Trump super PACs.
