Asobi: Remote Play enables PS Plus game streaming to Steam Deck without a PS5

In August 2026, a new cloud-streaming application named Asobi: Remote Play entered public testing, allowing users to stream PlayStation games directly to their Steam Deck and Steam Machine without needing a PlayStation 5 console. This development marks a significant advancement in cloud gaming, as it enables players to access the PS Plus Premium cloud catalog directly on their devices.
