The Kia was being driven by a 13-year-old boy and contained six other teenagers, all of whom were reportedly not wearing seatbelts and some were sitting on each other's laps. The crash took place just ten minutes before Payne was expected to arrive at work.
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene shortly after the collision, but unfortunately, Payne was pronounced dead at the scene.
