Wildfires force thousands to evacuate across Europe

The situation in France has been described as unfavorable, with 500 firefighters and six aircraft deployed to combat the flames. In Greece, the Halkidiki region has also seen evacuations as strong winds fanned a wildfire that engulfed houses and trees, further complicating the situation during the peak holiday season.
