Kosovo's prime minister and opposition leader fail to agree on presidential election and special court law

In Kosovo, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and opposition leader Bedri Hamza met for two hours but failed to reach an agreement on the presidential election and amendments to the Specialized Chambers law. The Assembly has until October 6 to elect a new president, or new elections will be called. The DPK wants the law amended first, while Self-Determination prioritizes the presidential vote. Hamza said talks could continue, and Kurti remained in his office after the meeting.
