On October 1, 2026, England named a 16-man squad for the one-day international tri-series in Pakistan, which will also include Sri Lanka. The squad features the return of spinner Adil Rashid and all-rounder Sam Curran from injuries, and includes uncapped players Mason Crane, James Coles, and Henry Crocombe. Jos Buttler is absent due to a hamstring injury, and Jofra Archer is rested. Harry Brook will captain the team. The series runs from October 18 to 31 in Rawalpindi and Lahore, with the final at Gaddafi Stadium.
