UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin announces candidacy for final term in Berlin

At a UEFA Top Executive Programme meeting in Berlin, UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin announced he will run for a final term, continuing to lead the organization beyond 2027. The meeting, attended by the President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, also focused on reforming FIFA. UEFA and all national federations except Azerbaijan agreed on a clear direction for FIFA reform, proposing changes to leadership structure, decision-making, and oversight. Another meeting of the 55 UEFA member federations is planned before November 17, 2026.
