Green Bay Packers rule out guards Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk for Tampa Bay Buccaneers game

On Friday, October 2, 2026, the Green Bay Packers announced that guards Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk will not play in Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to injuries. Banks has knee and toe issues, while Monk has a quadriceps problem. Earlier in the week, the Packers signed veteran guards Kevin Zeitler, Laken Tomlinson, and Mekhi Becton to bolster their offensive line, which has struggled, ranking last in the NFL in rushing. The Packers also ruled out two defensive tackles. The Buccaneers will start rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels in place of injured Baker Mayfield.
