Ukraine's military has used drones to deliver nearly 400 packages of food and medicine to the Russian-occupied town of Oleshky in southern Ukraine. The operation, carried out by National Guard units and other military branches, delivered about 4 metric tons of aid. Oleshky has been under Russian occupation since 2022, and Ukrainian authorities say the city faces a humanitarian disaster with food supplies cut off since late May. More than 6,000 people, including around 200 children, may remain in the area. Russian forces have been accused of obstructing aid deliveries and preventing civilian evacuations.
