U.S. plans to slash Canadian auto tariffs to 15%

The United States is negotiating with Canada to reduce tariffs on Canadian auto imports from 25% to 15%. This agreement is crucial as tariffs on $20 billion worth of Canadian goods are set to take effect soon. The effective tariff rate may be lower depending on the U.S.-sourced content in vehicles.
