Country Music Association to air live tribute special for Dolly Parton on ABC and Disney+

The Country Music Association will honor the late Dolly Parton with a live two-hour tribute special airing October 21, 2026, on ABC and Disney+. The event, filmed at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, will feature performances, archival footage, and personal stories celebrating Parton's life and legacy. Parton died on August 25, 2026, at age 80 after a brief battle with cancer. Proceeds will benefit her Imagination Library book program.
