The communications ministry forecasts the data center market will exceed 5 trillion yen by 2028. Developers are addressing local resident concerns about construction, leveraging their expertise in land transactions. Notable projects include 14 data centers planned in Chiba Prefecture, with the first five set to begin construction soon.
