Flamengo midfielder Arrascaeta to have wrist surgery after fracture in Uruguay friendly

Flamengo midfielder Giorgian De Arrascaeta will undergo surgery on his left wrist on Thursday after fracturing it during a friendly match between Uruguay and South Korea in Seoul on Monday. He will arrive in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday for pre-operative exams. The club has not set a return date, and his participation in the Copa Libertadores semifinal against Estudiantes is uncertain. He is confirmed out for the Brazilian league match against Santos on October 8.
