German Marshall Fund and CSIS launch Powering Forward Initiative with Greek energy group PPC

The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) have launched the Powering Forward Initiative (PFI), a five-year program supported by the Greek energy company PPC Group. The initiative will examine how energy, infrastructure, and technology are reshaping the geopolitical landscape of Southeastern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean. It will bring together experts and stakeholders from both sides of the Atlantic to discuss policies at the intersection of geopolitics and connectivity. The PFI will include high-level dialogues and events in Washington, D.C., Athens, and Brussels, as well as strategic research and leadership development opportunities.
