Economist Mohammad Abdur Razzaque appointed independent director of BRAC Bank in Bangladesh

BRAC Bank PLC in Bangladesh has appointed economist Dr Mohammad Abdur Razzaque as an independent director. The bank announced the appointment, highlighting his extensive experience in international trade, development, research, and public policy. Chairperson Meheriar M. Hasan welcomed Razzaque, stating that his expertise will bring valuable perspectives to the board and help shape the bank's strategic direction. Razzaque currently leads the think tank RAPID and has previously held senior roles at the Commonwealth Secretariat.
