Guyana Revenue Authority to launch online tax and vehicle licence payments by end of 2026
The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) will introduce online payments for taxes and motor vehicle licences by the end of 2026, as stated in the 2026 Mid-Year Report from the Ministry of Finance. The system will accept payments through Mobile Money Guyana and debit cards. In the first half of 2026, the GRA's eServices platform processed 85,465 tax returns, and the Padna Mobile App, with over 84,000 users, will be upgraded to handle licence payments. This is part of a broader digitalisation effort, with over 70 public services now online.
