Australia all-rounder Cameron Green out of first test against South Africa due to abdominal strain

Australia all-rounder Cameron Green will miss the first test against South Africa in Durban due to an abdominal strain sustained during the last one-day international in Potchefstroom. Coach Andrew McDonald said Green is progressing well but remains uncertain for the series. The 27-year-old, who scored a century against Bangladesh in August, is considered a key player. His absence may give 23-year-old Cooper Connolly a chance to play his second test. Green could return for the second test in Gqeberha or the third in Cape Town.
