Anthropic tests Claude Money tool giving AI access to users' bank accounts

Anthropic is testing a new version of its Claude app that will give the AI assistant direct access to users' bank accounts, according to leaked screenshots. The personal finance tool, reportedly named Claude Money, offers spending analysis and financial planning to any app users that connect their bank accounts. The feature appears just below the 'Chats' tab on the sidebar of the Claude app for iOS. It is not clear which banks it will support, or when and where it will launch, though it will likely be limited to US users to begin with. Cyber security experts have raised concerns about data centralisation.
