Goods transporters raise freight charges by 5% due to fuel price hikes

The All Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance reported that diesel prices increased by Rs20 per litre and petrol by Rs24 per litre in just four days. This follows earlier hikes in fuel prices, which have placed additional pressure on the transport sector. Transporters are warning of a potential nationwide strike if the government fails to address their concerns regarding fuel pricing policies.
