TAROM launches first Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft named Lukescu Mircea

TAROM, Romania's national airline, introduced its first Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft named Lukescu Mircea on September 8, 2026. The aircraft, with a capacity of 189 seats, will operate flights to Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, and Cluj. This addition is part of TAROM's strategy to modernize its fleet, with plans to acquire a total of four Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
