The 59th Festival de Brasília in Brazil concluded on September 19, 2026, with an awards ceremony. André Novais Oliveira's film "Se Eu Fosse Vivo... Vivia" won the top prize, and he dedicated it to his father. Daniel won Best Direction for "Pequenas Tragédias", and Martha won Best Actress.
