Nigeria's President Tinubu returns from Paris working vacation, plans Lagos meetings for 2027 election

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria has ended his working vacation and departed Paris, France, for Lagos, Nigeria. His aircraft is expected to land at Murtala Muhammed Airport later today. He chose to fly to Lagos first to honor the memory of Chief MKO Abiola, a symbol of Nigeria's democratic struggle. On Independence Day, he will attend a movie premiere honoring Abiola at the National Theatre. While in Lagos, he will hold strategic meetings with political leaders in preparation for the 2027 elections. He will return to Abuja after these engagements.
