Kow Essuman, former Ghana presidential legal counsel, says NPP will win back Ablekuma West seat in 2028

In Ghana, Kow Essuman, former legal counsel to ex-President Nana Akufo-Addo, declared on Tuesday that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will win back the Ablekuma West parliamentary seat in the 2028 election. He made this statement while campaigning to become the NPP's candidate for that seat, which the party lost to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2024. Essuman also endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP's 2028 presidential candidate, praising his intellect. The 2024 results showed NDC's Kweku Addo won with 31,866 votes against NPP's Ursula Owusu-Ekuful's 26,575.
