Ebola outbreak in Congo claims over 300 lives in one week

In eastern Congo, over 300 people died of Ebola in the past week, marking a significant increase in fatalities. The Ministry of Health reported a total of 5,514 cases and 2,642 deaths since the outbreak began. Experts suggest the actual number of cases could be three times higher. The outbreak is the fastest-growing in history, with a fatality rate nearing 48% overall.
