At least 41 people die after boat capsizes on Lake Tanganyika between Tanzania and Congo

A boat capsized on Lake Tanganyika while traveling from Tanzania to the Democratic Republic of Congo, resulting in at least 41 deaths. The vessel was carrying around 100 people and cargo when it sank near the village of Mapera. Local authorities reported that 49 individuals were rescued, and search operations are ongoing for those still missing.
