Brigitte Bardot's widower Bernard d'Ormale criticizes foundation's auction of her personal items in France
In France, Bernard d'Ormale, widower of Brigitte Bardot, criticized the planned auction of her personal belongings, organized by her animal welfare foundation. The auction, featuring over 300 items, is set for Monday at Paris auction house Drouot. D'Ormale called it a "joke" and disrespectful, arguing the items should be preserved. The foundation says the sale was approved by the board in June, including d'Ormale, who was then president. He was recently removed as head of the foundation and complains he no longer has free access to La Madrague.
