Turkish pilots start training for Eurofighter Typhoon jets

In Turkey, pilots have begun flight training for Eurofighter Typhoon jets as part of a procurement deal with the UK. This training commenced in August 2026 after completing terminology training. The agreement, valued at 8 billion pounds, includes plans for Turkey to acquire 20 jets, with additional purchases from Oman and Qatar.
