China mandates Tesla to enhance driver monitoring in over 2 million cars

In China, Tesla is recalling 2.74 million Model 3 and Model Y vehicles to enhance driver monitoring systems. This action follows a ruling by the State Administration for Market Regulation, which deemed Tesla's previous method of checking for a driver's hand on the steering wheel insufficient. The recall aims to improve safety by implementing cabin-camera monitoring to ensure drivers remain attentive while using Autosteer.
