In Brazil's 2026 elections, held on October 4, voters in São Paulo elected Guilherme Derrite (PP) and André do Prado (PL) to the Federal Senate for the 2027–2035 term. With 99% of votes counted, Derrite received 30.6% and Prado 29.3%. Derrite, a former federal deputy and public security secretary, and Prado, a former state assembly president, will both serve their first Senate term. Their victory was supported by Governor Tarcísio de Freitas and presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro.
