US Central Command says it helped move 1 billion barrels of oil through Strait of Hormuz in two months

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that its forces facilitated the safe passage of 1 billion barrels of crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz over the past two months, also assisting more than 2,000 commercial vessels. Admiral Brad Cooper, CENTCOM commander, said the main transit lanes are demined and traffic has increased. He also stated that the US continues to enforce a strict blockade on Iran's oil exports, preventing Iran from exporting any oil.
