Peru requests S/575 million to combat El Niño impacts

In Peru, Defence Minister Rafael Belaunde presented a plan to the Senate to address the impacts of El Niño. The Ministry of Defence requested a budget of 575 million suns to manage the emergency, focusing on 22 critical points, especially the Piura River. The plan includes deploying multi-purpose vessels and mobilizing 22 emergency engineering companies across the country.
