Russian air strikes kill three and injure seven in Kyiv and surrounding region

On Wednesday, Russian air strikes killed three people and injured seven in Kyiv and the surrounding region. The attack involved missiles and drones, causing fires and damaging infrastructure. In the Kyiv region, a child was among the dead. Earlier, Russian glide bombs hit a school in Sumy, but no one was hurt as people were in a shelter. Ukraine's neighbors, Romania and Poland, scrambled jets to protect their airspace. In response, Ukraine launched a drone attack on Russia's Samara region, damaging houses. President Zelenskiy condemned the attacks and announced Belgium will transfer F-16 jets to Ukraine.
