Peter Obi authorizes release of his academic records to public

In Nigeria, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, has authorized the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and other institutions he attended to release his academic records to the public. This follows a lawsuit by Labour Party chieftain Abayomi Arabambi seeking certified copies of Obi's 1984 Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. Obi stated he has no objection to the release, emphasizing transparency and accountability for public office seekers. He also challenged other presidential candidates to make their educational qualifications available for public scrutiny.
