Former CIA director subpoenaed in Trump conspiracy probe

Former CIA Director John Brennan has been subpoenaed to testify before a federal grand jury in Fort Pierce, Florida, on October 15, as part of a Justice Department investigation into whether former officials conspired against President Donald Trump. Brennan's attorney disclosed the subpoena in a court filing. The investigation examines alleged conspiracies related to probes into Trump's 2016 campaign and his handling of classified documents. Brennan also remains a target in a separate false statements investigation. The lead prosecutor in the conspiracy probe, Joe diGenova, resigned the same day the subpoena was issued.
