In Budapest, Hungary, Belgium's mixed 4x400 m relay team finished 4th at the Olympic Championship on September 12, 2026. The team, known as the 'Belgian Waffles', included Jonathan Sacoor, Helena Ponette, Daniel Segers, and Camille Laus. They recorded a time of 3:10.85, finishing behind the United States, Great Britain, and the Netherlands. Eliott Crestan also competed in the 800 m, achieving a personal best of 1:43.14 but placed 8th.
