Latin Recording Academy announces nominees for 27th Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas

On Wednesday, the Latin Recording Academy announced the nominees for the 27th Latin Grammy Awards, set to take place on November 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Karol G, Rosalía, Jorge Drexler, and Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso lead with seven nominations each, competing in major categories like album, song, and record of the year. Silvana Estrada and Mon Laferte follow with six nominations each. Edgar Barrera received the most nominations overall with ten. The ceremony will also honor Daddy Yankee as Person of the Year, the first Latin urban artist to receive this recognition.
