EU defence chief praises Palantir and calls AI crucial for modern warfare

European Commissioner for Defence and Space Andrius Kubilius praised Palantir Technologies as a 'great company' and said AI developments for warfare are crucial. His comments came after Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda and Polish President Karol Nawrocki met Palantir CEO Alex Karp at the UN General Assembly. Kubilius also addressed the removal of two Russian oligarchs from EU sanctions, supporting a German proposal to reduce member states' influence. He spoke on the sidelines of the EU Access to Space Summit in Brussels.
