Aaron Rodgers yells at coach Mike McCarthy during Pittsburgh Steelers' Thursday night game against Cleveland Browns

On October 1, 2026, during a Thursday Night Football game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns in the United States, quarterback Aaron Rodgers showed frustration with head coach Mike McCarthy. Late in the first quarter, cameras caught Rodgers waiting for a play call and then shouting an expletive at McCarthy. This followed earlier criticism from Rodgers about McCarthy's play-calling after a Week 2 loss. The game was significant as both teams had 2-1 records, and Rodgers was playing in his final Thursday night game. The incident may affect team dynamics.
