Cédric Fauq appointed curator of contemporary international art at Moderna Museet in Sweden

Cédric Fauq, a French curator, has been appointed as the new curator of contemporary international art at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Sweden. He will start on December 1, 2026. Fauq comes from the CAPC Musée d'Art Contemporain de Bordeaux, where he was chief curator. He has also worked at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris and Nottingham Contemporary in England. The museum's director, Tone Hansen, praised his experience. This appointment comes as the museum merges with other Swedish art institutions to form a new collective organization.
