Israel says its military has struck 100,000 targets in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran since 2023 Hamas attack

Three years after the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, the Israeli military reports it has struck 100,000 targets in the region. These include 65,000 in Gaza, 28,000 in Lebanon and Syria, and 4,500 in Iran. The military also reports 970 Israeli soldiers killed. The initial attack killed about 1,200 people and took 251 hostages. In the subsequent war, over 74,000 Palestinians have been killed, according to Gaza's health authority.
