In the Minnesota Vikings' season opener against the Green Bay Packers, quarterback Carson Wentz, filling in for the injured Kyler Murray, threw a 39-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Justin Jefferson. Jefferson caught two touchdowns, his first multi-score game since Week 16 of the 2024 season, as the Vikings rallied from a 12-point deficit to win. Coach Kevin O'Connell praised Jefferson's skill, and Wentz called him the best in the world at what he does. The win helped the Vikings move past a frustrating 2025 season.
