NASA launches Nancy Grace Roman telescope to explore the universe
NASA launched the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope from Florida on Sunday, embarking on a mission to explore dark energy, dark matter, and exoplanets. The telescope, named after NASA's first chief astronomer, will take about 100 days to reach its operational orbit one million miles from Earth. With a field of view over 100 times larger than Hubble's, it aims to map billions of galaxies and provide unprecedented data to enhance our understanding of the universe.
