England manager Thomas Tuchel says Alex Scott can challenge Declan Rice for midfield spot

England manager Thomas Tuchel said Declan Rice faces competition for his midfield spot after Alex Scott impressed on his first international start in a 7-0 Nations League win over Croatia. Scott, who plays for Bournemouth, started alongside Elliot Anderson after Rice withdrew. The pair controlled the game against Croatian veterans Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic. Tuchel said Rice should be worried and that England needs more options. England, second in their group behind Spain, host the Czech Republic on Tuesday.
